We are thrilled to announce that Andrew Ingredients is celebrating its 80th year in business! Since our founding by W.H. (Bill) Andrew in 1945, we have grown from a small family-run business in Corporation Street, Belfast, to a cornerstone of the Northern Ireland baking industry. Today, we proudly serve a diverse range of customers across the UK and Ireland from our Lisburn location.

Our journey began with humble beginnings, moving from Belfast to Hillsborough, and finally to our current site in Lisburn. Over the years, we have expanded our team to 55 dedicated staff members and built a customer base that includes small artisan producers, large-scale industrial manufacturers, and everything in between. Our clients span various sectors, including bakeries, food processors, pie manufacturers, ice cream producers, pet treat manufacturers, and the spirits and beverages industry.

At Andrew Ingredients, we are committed to supporting innovation and growth in the bakery and food industry. We collaborate with reputable European and local suppliers to offer a comprehensive range of high-quality ingredients, including flour, bread, cake and confectionery mixes, chocolate, icings, fillings, dried fruit, gluten-free products, vegan products, and much more.

Throughout our eight decades of operation, we have consistently stayed at the forefront of the baking supplies sector, adapting to changing market needs and consumer demands. Our recent development, the WorkWith innovation hub, includes the Test Bakery & Kitchen, named after our founder W.H. (Bill) Andrew. This facility provides hands-on solutions and expert advice to bakery and food businesses.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to sustainability, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Our future plans include expanding our range of sustainable and ethically sourced products, ensuring that bakers can continue to create high-quality goods while minimising their environmental impact. We are also investing in digital solutions to enhance the customer experience and improve our supply chain operations.
