Last week, Claire and Rachel headed to London for the Great Taste Awards, held at Battersea Arts Centre.

It was a fantastic evening, with the opportunity to explore the stands of the 3-star winners. They had the chance to sample an incredible range of products, meet the producers behind them, and hear the stories behind creating award-winning food and drink.

The highlight of the evening was the Golden Forks announcements, celebrating the very best of the best. We were especially proud to be there as sponsors of the Nigel Barden Heritage Award, which recognises producers championing traditional methods and heritage recipes, and Claire was delighted to announce the winner.

This year’s award went to Ocelot Craft Chocolate for their outstanding Dark Chocolate with Dark Cherry – a smooth, rich dark chocolate paired with delicious black cherries. Ocelot Craft Chocolate pride themselves in creating ethical chocolate by supporting both their cacao farmers and the environment that are involved in creating their outstanding products.

Congratulations to all the winners, and especially to Ocelot Craft Chocolate on their well-deserved recognition!
