On Tuesday 15th September, Rachel and Leah attended the Great Taste Awards, joining producers and food industry professionals for an evening celebrating some of the very best food and drink from across the UK and Ireland.
The evening offered a fantastic opportunity to explore the 3-star winner stands, sample an impressive range of award-winning products and meet some of the talented producers behind them.
A highlight of the evening was the announcement of the Golden Forks, recognising exceptional products from this year’s Great Taste Awards.
Andrew Ingredients was once again proud to sponsor the Nigel Barden Heritage Award, which celebrates producers who champion traditional methods, skills and recipes. Rachel was delighted to take to the stage to announce this year’s winner, Cashel Farmhouse Cheesemakers, for their outstanding Cashel Blue.
Cashel Farmhouse Cheesemakers have been producing Cashel Blue in County Tipperary for generations, making the award a fitting recognition of their commitment to cheesemaking tradition and quality.
