Description

MADERIA CAKE MIX is a powder product designed to produce a very versatile batter and when baked has a soft, moist, clean cutting crumb.

Method

Add the margarine and Madeira Cake Mix to a mixer fitted with a beater and mix on slow speed for 1 minute.

Add the liquid and mix for 1 minute on slow speed then scrape down.

Continue mixing for a further 4 minutes on middle speed, followed by 1 minute on slow speed.

Deposit 340g into paper cases in loaf tins and place on a baking tray.

Bake at 360°F (180°C) for 40 minutes, top heat 5 / bottom heat 1
