Description

These handcrafted personal pizzas are made using Carr's Pizza Flour for a light, crisp crust and topped with a variety of delicious ingredients to suit every taste. Finished with Macphie Nacho Cheese Sauce for an extra burst of flavour, they're perfect for cafés, bakeries, delis and food-to-go counters looking to offer freshly baked, individual pizzas.

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F). In a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook, combine the warm water (35–38°C), yeast and sugar.
  2. Leave the mixture to stand for approximately 10 minutes until it becomes foamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the Carr's Pizza Flour and salt. Add the flour mixture to the stand mixer and mix on a low speed for 3–4 minutes until a smooth dough forms.
  4. Add the olive oil and continue mixing on a low speed until fully incorporated.
  5. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 2–3 minutes. Place into a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean tea towel and leave to prove for 30 minutes.
  6. Divide the dough into individual portions and gently stretch each piece into a personal-sized pizza base.
  7. Place the pizza bases onto a pizza stone or lined baking tray.
  8. Top each pizza with your chosen ingredients:
    • Cheeseburger- Pizza sauce, grated mozzarella, Macphie Nacho Cheese Sauce, cooked minced beef and sliced tomatoes.
    • Pesto, Fig & Goats' Cheese- Basil pesto, sliced fresh figs, goats' cheese and a drizzle of olive oil.
    • Margherita with Burrata- Pizza sauce, mozzarella, fresh burrata and basil leaves.
    • Pepperoni- Pizza sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni slices.
  9. Bake for 12–14 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crisp and the cheese is bubbling.
  10. Remove from the oven and finish each pizza as desired:
  • Cheeseburger: Top with fresh tomato slices and an extra drizzle of Macphie Nacho Cheese Sauce.
  • Pesto, Fig & Goats' Cheese: Finish with fresh rocket and a drizzle of honey or balsamic glaze, if desired.
  • Margherita with Burrata: Add the fresh burrata after baking and garnish with basil leaves and a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Pepperoni: Garnish with fresh basil leaves and a drizzle of chilli oil if preferred.
  1. Serve warm and enjoy.
