- 1.5 kg 3 lbs 5 oz kg Carr's Strong Flour 16kg
- 0.15 kg 0 lbs 5 oz kg Macphie Spice Bun Concentrate
- 0.15 kg 0 lbs 5 oz kg
- 0.095 kg 0 lbs 3 oz kg AB Mauri Pinnacle Baker's Yeast 1kg packet
- 0.85 kg 1 lbs 14 oz kg Water
- 0.45 kg 0 lbs 16 oz kg Desiccated coconut toasted
Spiced Coconut Hot Cross Buns
Method
Mix flour, Spiced Bun Conc., sugar, yeast and water for 2 + 4-5 minutes (do not overmix)
Add coconut on slow
Scale and then roll buns in untoasted coconut
Proof approx. 60 minutes
Make up Crossing Mix as per instructions and then pipe onto buns
Bake at 200⁰C (400⁰F) for 12 minutes
